Scottish Heroines of the Faith by Donald Beaton is a memorial of the lives of some of the godly women who were eminent for faith in Scotland in 16th and 17th centuries. They were a noble band who chose \u201crather to suffer affliction with the people of God, than to enjoy the pleasures of sin for a season, esteeming the reproach of Christ greater riches\u00a0<\/span>than the treasures\u201d of Scotland, for they \u201chad respect unto the recompence\u00a0<\/span>of the reward.\u201d 85 pp.<\/span><\/p>
